TRIMendous bath/shower trim is offered in a broad range of decorative styles that all use the same valve allowing you to change styles easily without needing to cut into the wall to replace the valve.
TRIMendous bath/shower trim offers total flexibility. The universal valve and trim are packaged separately. This allows for the valve to be installed prior to trim selection. For contractors and plumbers this means than you can finish the rough in while your customer is selecting from among a wide range of styles and finishes that will fit their budget. The system also enables trim to be changed easily at any time without needing to change the valve.
American Standard's TRIMendous rough valves are built to be durable and long lasting. They feature cast brass construction and ceramic disc valves.
Our rough valves include several safety features including hot limit safety stops and pressure balancing. Hot limit safety stops offer adjustable setting that how far the handle can be pushed toward hot. Our Safety Stops are simple and easy to adjust. This feature is very useful in households with small children. The valves are also pressure-balancing to protect users from large temperature changes that could result from sudden uses of water within the system such as flushing a toilet.
Rough valves are available in two main types, the R110 temperature control series and the R120 temperature and volume control series. Each series is available with a variety of connections including direst sweat, direct sweat with stops, threaded, threaded with stops, PEX, and PEX with stops.
