EverClean is a permanent surface that can help your toilet keep itself clean. EverClean is a double-coated surface that inhibits the growth of stain and odor-causing bacteria, mold, and mildew on the surface. The smooth mirror-like surface stays cleaner longer, even years after use. It is featured on many popular American Standard toilets including the Champion® 4 and Cadet 3®.
American Standard’s Powerwash rim technology scours the toilet bowl with every flush. As water enters the rim chamber it traps air in the top of the chamber thus making its pressurized. When the toilet is flushed, the pressurized water is released through reconfigured rim holes to powerwash the bowl helping to keep it clean.
Toilets come in a variety of heights from standard to ADA compliant. The height is measured from the floor to the top of the toilet seat rim. Standard toilet height is typically around 14-15” while American Standard’s Right Height or Tall Height toilets feature an accessible 16 ½” rim height. People often find this taller height to be more comfortable. It also allows the toilet to be ADA compliant which requires that once the seat is installed the height of the top of the seat must be between 17” and 19” from the floor.
